Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ReservedBottle (reservedbottle.com), operated by Grey Fox Digital LLC ("we", "us"), collects, why, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, account type (collector or shop), and your confirmation that you're 21 or older. Passwords are stored by our sign-in provider in hashed form; we never see them. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email from them.
- Shop details: business name, address, phone, hours, pickup window, photos and listings.
- Activity: holds and their status, favorite shops, collectors a shop has starred, and alerts sent to you.
- Payments: Stripe processes card payments. We receive and keep the plan, amount, date and Stripe customer and subscription references, not your card number.
- Location you give us: the ZIP code and distance you search with, remembered in a cookie on your device. We don't use your device's GPS. Opening a shop in Maps hands the shop's address to your maps app.
- Alerts: if you turn on alerts, the browser push address your device gives us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested, recorded in server and security logs.
How we use it
- to run your account, holds, memberships, listings and billing;
- to show bottles near you and send the alerts you've asked for;
- to send account emails such as confirmations and password resets;
- to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems;
- to meet legal and tax obligations.
Who sees it
- Shops you reserve with see your name, the bottle, and your hold history with them. Shops never see your email, payment details or other shops' activity.
- Collectors who are members see a shop's name, address, hours, phone and listings.
- Service providers who run parts of ReservedBottle for us, under their own
privacy and security terms:
- Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage)
- Stripe (payments)
- Google (email delivery, map views, sign-in if you choose it, and web fonts)
- Facebook (sign-in, only if you choose it)
- Cloudflare (content delivery and security)
- our web hosting provider (servers)
- Anthropic (when a shop uses "Fill in details", the label photo and typed bottle name are sent to identify the bottle)
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect people, our rights, or the service.
- Business transfer: if ReservedBottle is sold or merged, with notice to you.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your ZIP and distance on Browse. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded Google maps may set Google's own cookies when they load.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. After you close it, we delete or anonymize it within 90 days, except records we need to keep for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or legal reasons, such as payment records.
Your choices
- Change your name and password on your Account page.
- Turn alerts off in your browser or device settings.
- Clear your remembered ZIP from Browse.
- Email [email protected] to see a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account. We'll respond within 45 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people and services that need it, and database rules restrict what each account can read. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
21 and over only
ReservedBottle is only for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 21 has an account, tell us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or on the site before the change takes effect.
